GEORDIE CHASERS
Geordie Chasers are a North East based online child protection team, our main goal is to deter sex offenders from talking to our children online. We achieve this by having a presence on sites and chat rooms we know are frequented by these individuals looking for sexual activity with children.
Geordie Chasers deploy decoys who talk to these predators, while they are speaking with our team it reduces the time they have to talk with real children meaning less children becoming victims.
Once we have gathered all of our evidence we approach the predator, we film this encounter for our protection and to gather evidence. We hand all of our evidence over to police who then conduct a thorough investigation leading to a prosecution.
Over the past few years we have been involved in and focusing on more real cases than decoy work and have helped many families bring many predatory paedophiles to justice.
